Step 1: Using a refractometer, adjust Brix (measurement of sugar in an aqueous solution) to 14 degrees.
Step 2: Add water to lower Brix, grenadine or simple syrup if higher Brix needed.
Step 3: When desired sugar content is achieved, add ingredients and set machine to freeze.
Step 4: Garnish with pineapple spear, lime wedge, umbrella or anything fun.
