Soup Season Has Arrived at Wild Heaven Avondale

This winter, soup gets the spotlight at Wild Heaven Beer’s Avondale location. From January 6 through March 1, the celebrated taproom will host Al’s Pine Street Market Soup Season, a seven-week winter menu built in partnership Pine Street Market, the Avondale Estates butcher and market known for its pasture-raised meats, small-batch approach, and loyal following among Atlanta cooks, chefs and food enthusiasts.

The collaboration reflects a shared point of view between two like-minded brands that value quality, craft, and staying rooted in the community. For Wild Heaven, it also continues a larger pattern of thoughtful food partnerships across its taprooms, including collaborations with Atlanta favorites like Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and the upcoming return of EATS inside the West End brewery. 

Led by Pine Street Market’s Chef Alfred McClendon, the Avondale taproom kitchen will pause its regular menu and focus entirely on soups built for cold weather, designed to pair easily with Wild Heaven’s beers and work just as well for a casual pint as they do for takeout. Two staples will be available throughout the run: Brunswick Stew served with cornbread, and Tomato Basil Soup paired with grilled cheese. Each week, a rotating seasonal soup will join the lineup for a limited time, designed to be enjoyed in the taproom or taken to-go.

The weekly rotating soups include:

  • Jan 6 – Jan 13: Clam Chowder with Sourdough
  • Jan 14 – Jan 20: Loaded Potato Soup with Sourdough
  • Jan 21 – Jan 27: Butternut Squash Soup with Grilled Cheese
  • Jan 28 – Feb 3: Beef and Bean Chili with Oyster Crackers
  • Feb 4 – Feb 10: French Onion Soup with Crostini
  • Feb 11 – Feb 17: Creamy Chicken Marsala Soup with Naan
  • Feb 18 – Feb 25: Matzo Ball Soup with Challah
  • Feb 26 – Mar 1: A final week until everything runs out!
