TIO LUCHO’S INTRODUCES LOW TIDE HOUR

$1 Oysters, Bright Coastal Bites, and Pisco-Forward Cocktails Take Over Weekdays from 4 to 6 P.M.

Serious oysters at happy hour prices have arrived at Tio Lucho’s. Introducing Low Tide Hour, offered Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., the new weekday happy hour draws attention to two fan favorites, oysters and pisco, both rooted in the restaurant’s coastal Peruvian foundation.

The draw is simple and deliberate: $1 oysters, available at the bar. Selected by chef and owner Arnaldo Castillo based on season and quality, each oyster is shucked to order and served with lime and house hot sauce. Guests can add ají leche de tigre for extra brightness or Peruvian saltines for crunch and texture. Seafood continues to lead the Low Tide menu. A personal tasting of the signature Ceviche de Pescado features rotating fish cut to order and dressed with precision. Crisp Fried Yuca with Huancaína adds richness and heat, while house-cut Chifles and traditional Cancha corn bring texture and salt. Cocktails remain classic and clean. The Chilcano ($11) highlights pisco with ginger and lime. A traditional margarita ($10) stays restrained. Pilsen beer ($5) keeps things cold and simple, with an optional Four Roses bourbon pairing. Rotating red and white wines round out the selection.
