Martinis, Mahjong & Margot: A Waiting on Martha Takeover
Brasserie Margot is trading its steady hum of dinner service for the sharp click of Mahjong tiles and the clink of martini glasses. For one night only, Mandy Kellogg Rye — the tastemaker behind Waiting on Martha — brings her signature style to Midtown with Martinis, Mahjong & Margot, a takeover that fuses French brasserie charm with Atlanta’s appetite for chic play.
On Thursday, September 18, the dining room transforms into a Mahjong salon where cocktails, conversation, and competition flow side by side. The evening opens at 6 p.m. with a welcome cocktail and a spread of sweet and savory bites. Once gameplay begins at 7 p.m., martinis are served as tiles shuffle and guests settle into open play, with experts on hand to answer questions and keep the rhythm of the game moving.
True to the spirit of Margot and Waiting on Martha, the night comes with its own set of indulgences: luxe prizes ranging from a Four Seasons staycation to spa escapes and curated surprises from Mandy’s stylish circle. Guests are asked to bring their own Mahjong sets, and tables are available exclusively in groups of four for $400 — non-refundable but transferrable — with seating capped at just over 50.
With its Parisian-inspired backdrop, a jewel-box bar, and the stylish perspective of Waiting on Martha, Martinis, Mahjong & Margot promises to be one of the season’s most coveted nights out.
The event takes place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Brasserie Margot inside Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. Cocktails and bites begin at 6 p.m., with Mahjong play running from 7 to 9 p.m. Reservations are required through OpenTable.
