Kitty Dare Introduces a New Sunday Brunch Menu in Inman Park
Sunday brunch is getting a fresh start at Kitty Dare. The beloved Inman Park restaurant has introduced a reimagined brunch menu featuring Mediterranean specialties, fresh seafood, savory favorites and a few sweet surprises. Just in time for fall patio season, the refreshed menu brings the flavors of Southern Europe and the Middle East to Sunday afternoons with fresh herbs, shareable plates, and cocktails to enjoy in the cooler autumn weather.
“With the new brunch menu, I really wanted to bring the focus back to the Mediterranean flavors and dishes that make Kitty Dare what it is,” says owner Jamshad “Jammy” Zarnegar. “Throughout the Mediterranean, the table is filled with fresh bread, herbs, cheeses, vegetables, and dishes everyone can share. We wanted to bring more of that experience to our Sundays.”
The refreshed brunch menu leans into Kitty Dare’s Mediterranean roots with new takes on Avocado, Salmon and Barbari Toast, alongside savory specialties like Shakshuka with shrimp, Koo Koo Sabzi, a traditional Persian herb and egg dish, and Tunisian Eggplant with Fried Eggs. The Mezze Board features a selection of spreads, fresh fruit and Barbari bread, and Labneh with spicy-sweet walnuts and flambéed seasonal fruit adds to the selection. Brunch favorites include orange-cardamom French Toast with berries and fresh cream, the Santorini Sunrise with steel-cut oats, almond butter and caramelized bananas, and Kitty’s Bacon with chili and maple syrup. Egg dishes include a Salmon Frittata, scrambled egg whites with mushrooms and feta, and Steak and Eggs with cheesy scrambled eggs and brunch potatoes. Heartier options include a Crab Cake Sandwich, Lamb Burger topped with a fried egg and Kitty Dare’s 8-Hour Pasta Bolognese. The Little Kitty Menu also includes grilled cheese, pasta and other favorites for the youngest brunch guests.
Fall patio season also brings the debut of Sarti Sundays at Kitty Dare, celebrating Sarti Rosa, the vibrant pink Italian aperitivo that made its U.S. debut just two months ago. Four cocktails featuring the Italian newcomer join the menu, including the Sarti Spritz, Sarti 75, The Friendly Negroni and The Pink Gimlet, with all four priced at $12 on Sundays. The cocktail menu also features seasonal mimosas, the House Bloody Mary and Maria’s Espresso Martini, alongside a wine list hand-selected by Zarnegar featuring bottles from Spain, Italy, France, Lebanon, Slovenia, California and beyond.
Kitty Dare is located at 1029 Edgewood Ave. NE in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood and now serves Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dinner beginning at 5 p.m. The bar is open throughout the day, with a limited menu offered between brunch and dinner.
