Treat her to a one-of-a-kind culinary experience at the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Simple Abundance Class hosted by Concentrics Restaurants on Monday, May 14, 2018. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Cook’s Warehouse in Midtown, attendees are invited to learn tips and tricks from experts Executive Chef Michael Bertozzi of TWO urban licks and Executive Chef Matt Weinstein of TAP. Participants will learn how to prepare cast iron searing steaks, which includes how to select a steak and a quality cast iron pan and how to sear and baste steaks. Additionally, participants will learn how to make loaded baked potato Parisian gnocchi along with French Crullers with Nutella, cream and fresh berries. The dessert will be made with the same pate a choux dough that is the base of the gnocchi, showing class attendees how to have multiple uses for that one dough. Concentrics Managing Partner Todd Rushing will also be on hand to discuss wine pairings that will complement the dishes. Eager to learn participants will also have the chance to win tasty door prizes.
