CITY WINERY ANNOUNCES CULINARY AND BEVERAGE EVENTS FOR MAY
A Month-Long Forager’s Feast, a Chardonnay Celebration, Five-Course Wine and Food Pairing, and More!
ATLANTA, GA – City Winery, a restaurant, urban winery, private event space and intimate music venue, has released its May lineup of culinary and beverage events at the popular Atlanta location in Ponce City Market. Atlantans and visitors alike can take advantage of an array of mouthwatering opportunities including wine samplings and a seated seminar, a wine pairing dinner with American Airlines, weekly specials culled from local farms created by Executive Chef Nick Anderson and more.
This year’s National Chardonnay Day celebration kicks off early at City Winery during Let’s Talk ChardonnYAY! on May 10th. The evening includes a seated seminar, wine tastings, and gourmet appetizers. The educational tasting is led by Bridgett Epp of Wente Family Estates, which is known as the “First Family of Chardonnay” for the exceptional work its done with the varietal since the 1880s. The event starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 plus applicable fees.
On May 13th, guests are invited to celebrate Mom with a special edition custom-labeled “Happy Mother’s Day” bottles of wine, available for only $20 that day only for dine-in customers or anyone looking for an unforgettable gift (chardonnay or pinot noir depending on availability).
On May 23rd, City Winery and American Airlines presents another installment of the First Class International Pairing Series. The event features wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Pacific Northwest, paired with a regionally-inspired, five-course menu curated by Executive Chef Nick Anderson. Guests are automatically entered into a drawing to win two roundtrip tickets to any international destination serviced by American Airlines. Starts 7 p.m. Tickets are $60 plus applicable fees.
On May 24th, join City Winery for a Sip, Paint & Socialize session with Tipsy Topics & Textures. Participants are invited to unleash their inner artist while indulging in the smoothest wine and engaging in a Tipsy Topic as their masterpiece unfolds. Starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 plus applicable fees.
Throughout May, City Winery is participating in the Forager’s Feast, an event designed to support Georgia’s food community by using locally-harvested food. Each week, Executive Chef Nick Anderson creates a new dish that includes “foraged” ingredients, like mint, wild violets, gooseberries, mushrooms, and more.
