Woodward & Park, a new neighborhood bistro featuring indoor and outdoor dining as well as take out, is officially set to open in historic Grant Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Located at Larkin on Memorial, a mixed-used development across from historic Oakland Cemetery, the new community-focused dining and imbibing destination will be open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday beginning Friday, September 11, 2020, with plans to add weekend brunch in the near future.  Offering approachable, American cuisine with international influence, Woodward & Park’s menu will feature the finest and freshest ingredients along with an innovative wine and cocktail program for all tastes.

Locals and visitors alike can enjoy an array of mouthwatering small plates, sandwiches, entrees and desserts.  From steak frites, a smoked half Springer Mountain chicken to a signature W&P Burger, Korean Pork Philly, an array of vegan options and daily, seasonal chef specials, Brown promises not to disappoint. Guests with a sweet tooth can indulge in the Blondie Banana Pudding with burnt marshmallow fluff and the Chocolate-Passion Fruit Trifle. Weekly chef specials from the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients will be featured.
“I am looking forward to providing new and exciting culinary options to the community while helping to build a dynamic neighborhood restaurant where people can feel at home, safe and have a great experience during the pandemic and for years to come,” says Executive Chef Brown.

Woodward & Park is co-owned by Atlanta developer, restauranteur and long-time Grant Park resident James Brooks, along with Amanda Feathers who will be the acting General Manager and has worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over 20 years. Designed by architect Jackson Thilenius of Retail Design Collaborative, the neighborhood locale boasts a comfortable outdoor patio, expansive bar with an antique, mirrored backdrop, open kitchen, dramatic lighting, exposed brick and wood, and a mix of socially distanced banquets and tables. There’s an undeniable warmth to the restaurant’s intimate atmosphere that encourages inspired conversation and for guests to embrace comfort and sit back and relax while enjoying a diverse selection of chef-driven dishes, boutique wines, craft beers and handcrafted cocktails served in whimsical, vintage glassware. “As a long-time Grant Park resident, it has been a dream of mine to open a bistro in my neighborhood that can be a real local gathering place and focal point,” says Brooks.
