Scene Stealer: The Zsa-Zsa Korda Takes the Lead at Bar Margot

There’s something about a perfectly balanced cocktail that feels like it belongs on screen. Enter the Zsa-Zsa Korda, a smoky-smooth, passionfruit-laced sip arriving at Bar Margot just in time for the release of The Phoenician Scheme, Wes Anderson’s latest symmetrically stylized caper.

A nod to the film’s mysterious billionaire played by Benicio del Toro, the Zsa-Zsa Korda blends Michter’s bourbon and Siete Misterios mezcal with lemon, Chinola passionfruit, agave, and egg white, shaken into velvet. The result? A little bit smoky, a little bit sweet, and just eccentric enough to fit into the universe of Brasserie and Bar Margot—places that feel as if they were always meant to exist within a Wes Anderson frame.
