French Market Flowers Blossoms Into In The Meadow
Since planting roots in Glenwood Park in 2019, French Market Flowers has grown from a charming neighborhood shop into one of Atlanta’s most in-demand floral studios, designing for clients including Tiffany & Co., Rolex, Netflix, Dior, Chanel, Delta Air Lines, and the Atlanta Falcons. Now, owners Matt Riley and Hannah Lee are embracing a new identity, In The Meadow, a name that captures the wild beauty, seasonal abundance, and storybook charm at the heart of their work.
“French Market Flowers will always be part of our story, but In The Meadow feels like our true identity,” says Riley, co-owner and creative director. “It reflects the sense of place that guides everything we do—from hand-tied bouquets for a neighbor to custom orders and floral styling for flagship stores, luxury brands, and milestone occasions across the city.”
The Glenwood Park studio is a place where sunlight pours through tall windows, handmade farm tables brim with freshly arranged blooms, and shelves display handpicked gifts from women-owned and small businesses including Among the Flowers, June & December, The Body Cove, Seedlings, and The Jungle Shop. Known for its farm-to-vase philosophy, In The Meadow partners with Georgia growers and farms to create arrangements and installations that are vibrant, layered, and constantly changing with the seasons. Their signature style, lush, whimsical, and inspired by the modern meadow, celebrates variety in texture, color, and form, resulting in designs that feel alive and effortlessly untamed.
To mark the new chapter, In The Meadow will host a lively Opening Celebration on Saturday, August 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can explore the reimagined studio, enjoy seasonal bites and refreshments from Vesper, Kitty Dare, Wild Heaven Beer, Topo Chico, and Nine Dot, discover floral-inspired surprises and giveaways, enjoy complimentary sweets from the Ruby Bond candy cart, and enter a raffle to win a year-long floral subscription. All ages are welcome and so are four-legged friends.
“This is more than a name change,” says Lee. “It’s about expanding what we offer—seasonal arrangements, immersive workshops, and unforgettable floral experiences for private and corporate brands and gatherings while staying rooted in our community and the beauty of nature.”
In The Meadow is located at 925 Garrett St. K in Atlanta’s Glenwood Park and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information or to explore current offerings, visit inthemeadowdesigns.com or follow along on Instagram at @inthemeadowdesignsatl.
