A fixture at Camp Bisco since its 10th Anniversary, the curated tents return showcasing the latest creative elements endorsed by each outlet. First on the list are two labels that have been receiving a lot of attention lately, OWSLA founded by GRAMMY winner Skrillex and BoysNoize Records, a burgeoning label founded by 3 time Beatport winner for “Best Electronic Artist of the Year” Boys Noize. Fans can expect a healthy dose of collaborations with the OWSLA vs. BoysNoize Records tent, producing an amalgamation of dubstep, electro-house and even the newly tagged ‘dirty house’. Next on the list are the ‘protectors of the feel good’ – deep house DJ Perseus’ French Express Records. Finally, industry leading music blog, This Song Is Sick will be presenting a special collection of artists that are on its radar. Building off the well received art installations at CounterPoint Music Festival, MCP Presents once again looks to Greg Mike, the Atlanta-based founder and creative director of ABV multi-platform studio, to create exciting visual and interactive art elements that play off the already scenic Indian Lookout Country Club. Exploring multi-dimensional and multi-leveled live art structures, larger than life multi-sensory visual and interactive light installations and areas for creative exploration, fans can expect a Camp Bisco environment that will be both multifunctional and aesthetically pleasing during both day and night hours. The festival is also enhancing fan activities and amenities throughout, for a more elevated experience on and off the concert fields.

A limited allotment of General Admission tickets are on sale now for $185, before raising to the last minute price of $199. A small quantity of all-inclusive VIP packages are still available for the final price of $480. The Chattahoochee Hills Country International Horse Trials (CHC International Horse Trials) is thrilled to announce its inaugural event this May 17 through 19, 2013. The three-day “equestrian triathlon” will be held just 30 minutes travel time from Downtown Atlanta at Bouckaert Farms, a scenic 8,000-acre equestrian paradise along the Chattahoochee River. Attracting amateur, professional, international athletes and Olympian competitors, the CHC International Horse Trials of 2013 will also feature a variety of activities and amenities for all ages to enjoy an exciting weekend in the country.

“Our goal is to showcase the historic equestrian Olympic sport known as eventing or as an equestrian triathlon, as a true festival in the country, while introducing it to new fans and emphasizing its uniqueness with new added entertainment and amenities,” says Michael Pollard, founder of the CHC International Horse Trials.

Whether new to the sport or a seasoned eventing enthusiast, festival goers are invited to watch the grueling three-day competition that tests the training, ability, and strength of a horse, along with the connection between horse and rider. Additionally, CHC International Horse Trials is taking traditional eventing to a new level by offering family friendly activities and amenities throughout the weekend, including a shopping bazaar, food trucks, a beer garden, a kid zone, bars, rider meet and greets, and more. On Saturday night, festival goers are invited to enjoy an impressive bonfire and live music performances from the Mike Snowden One Man Cigar Box Guitar Band, DJ RL Shine and a headliner that will be announced in the coming weeks.

With a variety of affordable ticket prices and packages, attendees also have the option to tailgate throughout the weekend and are encouraged to bring blankets and tents to take advantage of the beautiful landscape while watching the competition, live music, and more. Owned by Olympic Three Day Event rider Carl Bouckaert, the farm has established rolling pastures, lakes, and woodlands that run 12 miles along the Chattahoochee River. The pristine facility hosted the U.S. Eventing Association’s (USEA) American Eventing Champions (AECs) for three years and in 2012 had the pleasure of adding renowned course designer, Hugh Lochore, to the team. Both participating equestrians and event goers can look forward to experiencing a creative and competitive course from this talented designer.

Tickets to the CHC International Horse Trials of 2013 go on sale Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Chef Shane McIntosh of Ocean Catering quickly cooked his way into our hearts.  This powerhouse chef is currently competing in Modern Luxury and Verizon’s “4G For Hunger” campaign to win $4000 for his charity of choice. Vote for Chef Shane and help us win much-needed funds for The Chef & Child Foundation.

It’s the end of the World as we know it, so why not feel fine.  Bone Lick BBQ is going out in style, with a free beer toast for ‘the end” Countdown, a free late night breakfast buffet for the surviors, live Dj’s, and Go Go Dancers. It’s an End of the World Party with every bit of class that the Mayans predicted would be the very cause for our demise.

The newest venture from the owners of Tongue and Groove, we cannot get enough of The Joint Barroom, a newly opened “turbo-pub” located next door to the iconic nightclub in Buckhead’s Lindbergh City Center.
