Cypress Street Pint and Plate: Cypress Zombie Fest 2012 at 8p
The undead will invade Midtown on Saturday, October 27 beginning at 8 p.m., when Cypress Street Pint and Plate presents Cypress Zombie Fest 2012. Sponsored by Russian Standard Vodka and Newcastle Werewolf, Cypress Zombie Fest 2012 will feature an open bar from 8 to 9 p.m., a DJ will spin tunes all night long, and there will even be a photo booth to capture the living’s scariest moments. Additionally, the guest with the best costume contest will receive $500, with second place receiving $250. This Sunday between 6 and 8 p.m., take advantage of Atlanta’s gorgeous fall weather during a pumpkin carving party on the patio of Cucina Asellina in Midtown. Guests are invited to get into the spirit of Halloween with themed cocktails and menu items, while they show off their pumpkin carving skills. Cucina Asellina will provide free pumpkins and participants are asked to bring their own carving equipment and creativity is encouraged.
