From a special edition of Beer Geek Tuesday at Cypress Street to the Official Peachtree Road Race After Party at Park Tavern, we’ve put together a few or our favorite 4th of July client happenings.

Cypress Street Pint and Plate: Get your freak on with Cypress Street Pint and Plate on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, as they host the newest installment of their weekly Beer Geek series, Beer Freak. In honor of America’s birthday, Cypress is taking you back in time to wistful summers spent on Coney Island’s boardwalk. Cypress’ Beer Freak will feature specialty Coney Island brews from Schmaltz Brewing, including Albino Python, Mermaid Pils, Sword Swallower, and a vintage Human Blockhead.  But the fun doesn’t stop there! As you enjoy your cold Coney brews, prepare for little shock and awe as you enjoy a freaky carnie show, featuring a real life sideshow freak that will excite and amaze you with his glass eating abilities, among others. Additional festivities include performances from real-life circus freaks, a Nathan’s hotdog eating contest and more. Cucina Asellina: Don’t miss cheering for the runners during one of Atlanta’s favorite 4th of July traditions, the Peachtree Road Race. Cucina Asellina is located right along the race route, so they’re opening at 8 a.m. so you can have a front row seat as they serve up a delicious brunch, specialty Belvedere (RED) cocktails, bottomless Bellinis and special edition mini Moët & Chandon bottles. D.B.A. Barbecue: What’s more American than barbecue and beer?  This 4th of July join D.B.A. Barbecue from 11 a.m. to midnight for $4 Jailhouse Brewing pints, live music courtesy of Ocha La Rocha starting at 9 p.m. and, of course, all of your D.B.A. favorites like Hotlanta smoked wings, pulled pork sandwiches, smoked meat platters, and chef and owner Matt Coggin’s homemade Puddin’ Pops.  If you can’t make it to D.B.A. they’ll come to you; put your feet up, turn off the grill, and let D.B.A. cater your cookout or call in a picnic basket for your 4th of July outing! Diesel Filling Station: Every Tuesday night starting July 3, Dirty South Trivia and Diesel Filling Station will host Nerd-Core Trivia! In true Dirty South style, anything goes during the eight rounds that will test your nerdiest knowledge about Star Wars, zombies, and more. Taking the nerdiness a step further, Diesel will break out the very best retro game systems and will host gaming tournaments throughout the month. Park Tavern: Whether you are participating in Peachtree Road Race this 4th of July or are showing your support along the race route, you won’t want to miss the official after party at Park Tavern. With the race finishing in the meadow in Piedmont Park, just scoot on over to Park Tavern between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and enjoy as many frosty Miller64s as you like under the spacious, air conditioned Garden Tent for just $10.  The event is for ages 21 and up.
